#41 of 97 mountain bike trails in Alabama
#4,626 in the world

Rails-to-Trails project. The trail extends from Piedmont south through Jacksonville to Weaver. The trail is mostly flat with just a few moderate grades. The path parallels Alabama highway 21 and goes through a mix of wooded areas and farm country. The trail is growing and the plan is to go north to Georgia and south towards Birmingham.

Well it was a good workout....but once was enough....definitely time to get back in the woods.

This trail is beautiful. Yet quickly reminds me all the reasons that I am not a road biker. If you like asphalt, you'll love it.

Great ride. Anyone looking for a good relaxing ride should check it out. Also, a great place for a good workout if you don't want to have to deal with worrying about cars.

This is a road cyclist's haven. It spans from Marietta, Ga to Anniston Alabama. It is a 5 foot wide paved trail that is full of beautiful scenery.

This trail is a good one for beginers or people who just want to take it easy for the day. It is mostly flat and I think it is a great place to take the whole family.
