Review: This is the Farmington Canal Line, or "linear path." It's actually paved (like a road), with a small crushed stone shoulder. It's all beginner level and gets lots of use during the weekend, especially when the weather is nice. You can expect to share the path with joggers, people waking dogs, roller bladders, other cyclists, strollers and kids. It goes from New Haven to Cornwall Ave in Cheshire. North off Cornwall to West Main Street (1mi) is presently under construction (10/10/17). North off West Main Street the path continues into Southington, terminating just north of the "downtown area." There are a couple of places to eat along side of the trail in Southington. Enjoy going there with the kids, or when I want to ride my road bike before go to work in the morning. Cheers!
