Mountain Biking Celebration river trail

  Add a review
#207 of 317 mountain bike trails in Idaho
#17,861 in the world

Celebration River Trail mostly follows old jeep trails thst were used to access Halverson Lake for fishing. These are now closed to motorized vehicles. The trails follow along the Snake River from Celebration park to Swan Falls Dam. Due to the sandy soil this is best done in early spring when the ground is moist. It is doable in sry weather, just expect lots of sand. There isn't a lot of climbing on this trail. It's mostly rolling terrain that follows the river. Watch for old rock houses along your way and keep your eyes open for Indian Petroglyphs on the rocks. This area is known for them. Also be aware that this river valley has scorpions and rattle snakes.
