in the beginning you follow the switchbacks up 3/4 of the mountain. once you reach the rocky ridge it gets
pretty steep with a lot of loose rock (this part is hard for most) luckily its not for very long. Keep heading
north on the trail you will pass a large set of powerlines and if you look left you can see the route for
decent. stay on the singletrack all the way out you will eventually get to the road. Head east on croy creek
road back to the parking lot. This is a good after work trail and I find it the uphill much more difficult then
the downhill but you can make up your own mind.

Starting in the heart of Hailey, ID. From main st (Highway 75) head west on bullion.. keep heading west until
you cross the river.. there is a small parking lot on your right (the north west side of the bridge) park here.
Head west on the trail taking the second right hand trail heading north, these are the "switchbacks" and you
are on your way.

Pretty steep in the beginning and lots of switchbacks. Down hill is lots of fun but u need to watch out for hikers.
