Mountain Biking Black Creek Walking Trail

****   Add a review
#40 of 99 mountain bike trails in Alabama
#4,628 in the world

This is a family fun trail. It is a 1.7 mile out and back style trail with many scenic views and sounds of the nearby waterfalls and creek. Scattered along the trail are several rest benches and even an oberservation deck with picnick tables. At one point near the bottom of the hill you will see an opening to walk out into the creek on a large rock, caution after a heavy rain. This is an out and back trail so just remember what you walk up or down you must also reverse this on the way back.

Rider questions

Q: My wife has multiple schlerosis and is no longer able to ride a bike. I saddens me that she can no longer enjoy these kinds of trails and natures beauty. Is it possible to rent perhaps an electric golf cart or other motorized vehicle so that she could at least enjoy the easiest of trails such as this and one more enjoy the beauty of nature.
A: I am not aware of any electric vehicle or golf cart rentals at the park. You could contact Noccalula Falls Park & Campground at (256) 549-4663 to see what options are available.
