Review: I got more out of this ride than I expected based on the previous reviews. The dirt road is mostly moderate with a couple steep pitches thrown in, but it is pleasant, kinda' scenic, and free of automotive traffic. The downhill is an absolute blast, although it is interrupted by a significant climb midway. But the downhill has great variety with flowy bermed trail interspersed with narrow, watch-yer-handlebars dodging through the pinions, and at least a dozen good optional small to moderate air opportunities--truly a great trail for satisfying riders of mixed ability/aggressiveness. The only drawback is that it's short, but it's also a fun one on which to do laps.

Review: Most of the descent for this trail has been rerouted or refurbished by the Forest Service in the last year. It is in much nicer shape than before.

Review: Great trail for Intermediate riders. Double Track climb to Single Track descent. The singletrack may be a little technical for beginner riders but you can always go back down the double track if you feel uncomfortable. Fun trail but it does get very hot and dusty towards the middle of the summer.

Review: This is a fine trail for early season or a quick ride before or after work. Long fire road to a short bit fun singletrack.

Review: Good afterwork trail...if you are visiting the area and looking for a classic ride go to eagle or vail...
I personally get really bored biking up fire roads...would rather be on singletrack the whole time! I would also call this trail a Green, not a Blue. The ascent is on a road, and the downhill has no drops, sharp turns, or grades steep enough to warrant a true blue trail ride.

Review: Great early season loop. Takes about 45minutes at a strong pace to do the loop. Downhill section has been changed slightly in the early summer of 2009.
