Trail Description
About this trail
The majority of this trail is flat hard packed dirt with the occasional sand pit. There are also a few nice flowy sections. While this may only show 8 miles the trail does continue on past Central.

Review: Good pedaling workout. Mostly smooth and some winding turns. Nothing too challenging but fun to see how fast one can pedal. Hard too see around turns

Review: Nice flat trail winding through the riparian habitat of the Rio Grande. Also used by hikers, runners, and the occasional horseback rider. There are many side trails branching off and coming back in but the main route is easy to follow.

Review: River trail. Great level trail for the beginner. Not marked very well, but generally easy to follow based on location next to river. New beginner rider loved the trail, a bit creepy in spots, I was on my guard the whole time, river floods this area so there is trash, and I was expecting to find the random floater washed up on the trail. It is a good trail overall for the beginner and my beginner rider loved it. Saw some runners and hikers on the trail. Trailhead is hard to locate next and under highway bridge, you have to turn into a neighborhood to work towards it. Overall a good ride. Very level, very easy ride.

Review: The trail is great for endurance training. Going along the entire trail from North to the South end of Albuquerque has maybe 100ft elevation difference. This track is usually very clean with nothing technical in the way.

Review: This trail is very smooth for the majority of the ride, occasional sand spots but nothing major. Very nice trail to speed up and have a fast and flowy experience!
