Mountain Biking Akamina Pass
#97 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
Actually, most of this trail lies in British Columbia, but I accessed it from Waterton National Park (one of 3 trails open to MTBs within the park). A short climb up a double-wide puts you at the summit of Akamina Pass. This is the entrance into British Columbia. From there, its over 20 miles to the end of the trail. I only went about ten as this was less interesting than other trails I had taken on my vacation in Alberta. Still, you can get in a heckuva lot of miles with some serious climbing here.
