Review: I don't think you guys know the entire trail. You should start at the Elkhorn trail and climb up past chair 12 at Beaver Creak ski area and duck into McCoy Park just before chair 11. You continue to do an easy climb through McCoy Park along a pleasant meadow singletrack to a high point overlooking New York Mountain and Lake Creek. That is where the descent begins. From the reviews I am reading you are missing half of the ride. The best half.

Review: Pretty good grind on a hot day. Make sure riding partner is strong as I had to uhgg! haul friends bike up the hike-a-bike as well. Won't mention his name (Dave Stueber). Sweet down ride especially if you time it to end at the Saturday Edwards farmers market!!

Review: Ride down is a blast especially ending on Saturday's Edward's food market. The hike-a-bike is not if you have a fat-ish friend and need to also carry his bike

Review: Never an easy ride that is currently quite overgrown but in good riding condition. Most wildflowers you may see at any time up there right now - worth the effort!

Review: Remote singletrack through aspen glades and winter snowshoe trails. 15-20 min hike-a-bike with a fast, rocky and sometimes steep descent. This is my literal back yard trail!

Review: I attempted this ride recently starting from Arrowhead as recommended by the Latitude 40 Vail/Eagle Topo Map. Unfortunately access from this side was closed thru June 30 to protect Elk calving. I then tried starting from the Edwards side, using the Creamery Ditch trail and it was a brutal climb. The upshot is I got to experience a couple miles of A-10 and it was amazing! I'll definitely be back to attempt the full loop another time.

Review: The A10 trail is a long loop when accessed from the Elkhorn Trail and Village to Village Trail on Beaver Creek. This is a great loop from Edwards with a long and steady climb that is rewarded with beautiful meadows of wildflowers and panoramic views at the top. I am not going to lie and will say the climb is a bitch and the hike a bike is work. The descent however into Homestead in Edwards is pretty sweet with slalom turns through glades of aspen and a steep luge type descent to the water tank. The descent does seem like it could and should be longer after all the work you put in getting there. Finish the ride with a frosty beverage on the E Town patio to really make it an epic.

Review: One of my least favorite trails in Eagle County... Its a great workout, but overall the trail isnt much to write home about. The downhill doesnt have much flow, and during the summer you really cant get much speed going as the trail is invisible past 10 feet ahead. I would say great for the spandex heroes! Otherwise there are many more trails in the area that are more fun overall.

Review: The double track is perfect to warm up on. The singletrack is fast and in the cooler trees. The hike-a-bike section is steep, but worth the view... and the downhill!
