Q: WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR THE TRAILS AND IS NIGHT RIDING ALLOWED? -Hardy Mcneece

A: Night riding is allowed. There is a regular night ride on Thursdays. I believe the starting time is dependent on the season. Right now (September) it is about 6:30 or 7:00.

Review: Nice little trail system. Got to ride here while on a trip to the area. There are 2 distinct areas of the park. On the northern end you have Hookman Hill (Blue) and Toybox Hill (Green). Both are separate loops with the latter being very flowy and fast and the former being slightly more technical with more rocks & roots. Both have decent elevation change. You can then take Blvd to the southern section of trails which basically has 2 ride. The first takes you up Wabash Climb (Blue) where you have 3 downhill options (Flume, Cannonball and Screamin' Delta Deomn, all of which are fun in their own right. They're all relatively short (0.2 miles on Trailforks) but very fun especially SDD which has berms you can rail as well as a bunch of tabletops to practice. After you're satisfied you've done enough runs you can ride up Hop Project (Blue) to Rocky Top (Blue) and then come down Humdinger (Black). The climb up is no cakewalk with a series of rock gardens at the higher points. On the way down you can really shred once you've cleared some of the rocky sections. If you're in the area it's a nice place to ride. Love the fact that the trails are uni-directional.

Review: Rode Hookman Hill this morning, for my first ride ever in Tennessee. It was a little slick (possibly just because of the early morning dew), but otherwise was a fun trail with some tough little obstacles.

Review: I too was disappointed after the rave reviews. I'll take Cane Ridge a half hour south near LaVergne. Trails are simple, mostly. Some trails are tough and rocky, for no apparent enjoyment. The downhills are under whelming. Its low/mid intermediate at best.

Review: This was my first time here and I had a great time. The trails were marked very well and easy for me to follow. I've been on several trails where so many of the trails intersect and it's easy to get lost. Not this system! One thing though, if you click on "Get Directions" through the Singletracks app, it will take you to the wrong place! It takes you to Smyrna Parks and Recreation. This is about 30-40 minutes away from Percy Warner Park. You need to go to 1300 Forrest Park Dr. in Nashville. Park by the pavilion and golf course area.

Review: What an excellent trail system. I can't think of any discipline of mountain biking that hasn't been included within this trail system. Great flow, proper XC, challenging technical climbs, fun sporty jumps, well groomed berms. One stop shop and hop!!! Can't wait to ride it again.

Review: Great little trail, i just wish it was longer. Some little climbs, fun downhill/flow sections, and a couple of techy sections. Trail is maintained very well thanks to the local sorba crew.

Review: Great mix of trails. Really well marked due to a recent eagle project. Trails get lots of TLC given their overall quality and proximity to the city.
