Sad update on this great shop. Message from the owner...
"It is with deep sadness that I announce the closing of Bluebonnet Bicycles. After 32 years in business in Lewisville and Highland Village I am financially no longer able to continue. I have a deep feeling of gratitude and friendship for my many friends and customers and I will miss the routine of operating the shop. I love the sport, equipment and people that participate in the great sport of cycling and I will continue to ride, so I'll see you folks on the road or trail. I know some of you may have a question about where to go for service or sales. We do have another shop in Highland Village, Cadence Cyclery, and I know that Chad is an enthusiast and tries his best to offer good service. I would always encourage cyclists to support a local bike shop.
Great old fashioned LBS (local bike shop). Not a lot of flash, glitter, or huge inventory (can order anything) but a great shop that has fast turnover, and willing to talk shop with you and help if you work on your own bike. Reasonable labor prices.
