For someone who rides dirt, the biggest frustration would be is when the trails are wet and closed due to the weather. With this bike, I was able to scratch my pedaling itch and ride around the neighborhood without the need of having to wear lycra. Fairly inexpensive and a better compromise than riding my fat bike or dh bike on dry pavement.

Geometry and handling is close to a mountain bike. Schwalbe Big Ben tires are relatively smooth and comfortable on pavement compared to mtb tires, but slower than road bike tires. Upgrading the 8 speed rear derailleur and cassette is a must!

If you're a mountain biker frustrated by the weather ruining your plans to hit the dirt trails, this bike would be a great option and you can ride the paved paths without going for the full roadie look. Inexpensive, simple and easy to maintain, if you're a mountain biker or roadie, it would make a great second bike.

    Sleek and simple
    1x setup
    Nice matte black frame finish
    Basic and easy to maintain
Mountain bike feel without the roadie look :D

    Grips slips right off
1x 8 groupset needs to be updgraded.
    Mechanical Tecktro brakes
    Bashguard is plain. Too plain!!
One step closer to being a roadie :D
At 27 lbs (med), it's a bit heavy
