Great bike for what it is. While it is a heavy bike if you are that worried about weight you shouldn't be shopping entry level bikes.ProsThis bike is great for what it is, an entry level 29er hardtail.ConsHeavy

An increase of an £100 can get you the choice of Saracen Kili Trail with SunTour Raidon forks which are wider and a better than entry level standard. Also Schwalbe Rapid Rob tyres are slightly wider and greater improvement at fraction of price for replace.
Also a choice of DiamondBack Apex will offer equally faster speed of rapid fire x10 and slightly improved RockShox XC -30 forks.

    Pros
    Triple Triangle Frame
    Kore Handlebars
    Avid Hydraulic Breaks
    ALIVIO Rapid Fire x9 shifters.
    29er wheels.
    Continental RaceKing 2.2 tyres

    Cons
    RockShox XC -28 forks
    Shimano XT shadow rear deralieur

This is a great entry/midrange 29er. If the components were spec'ed up it would climb a little higher even. The frame is very solid and I'm planning on keeping it around for awhile because it'll handle some nice upgrades. Weight could be an issue if that's a deal breaker, but it hasn't caused me any grief.ProsSolid frame
    Easily upgradableConsLow end components
    Heavier frame

I replaced everthing on the frame with upgrades. 3x10 xt drive train. RS reba dual air fork. WTB I23 tubless wheelset. Now the bike is awsome. This is a great starter 29er. If you are an experienced rider you will want alot more.Prosgreat frame and entry level componants.Consentry level parts.

This is an entry level bike. The components are lower end and the frame is slightly heavier than others. The ride has been comfortable so far. ProsAffordable, works well, easily upgradeable, and comfortable.ConsHeavy and lower end components.
