You should include Framed bikes in your short list if you are in the market and consider the Alaskan if it fits your budget. I am thrilled with how mine rides.

    Pros
Value, Options. You can get into a Carbon fat bike for well under 2k if you go with a rigid fork. The wheels and frame use a widely accepted standards so you can upgrade easily later if you so choose. Terrene Wazia Light tires are a magic mix of grip and low rolling resistance.

    Cons
Matte Finish is hard to get clean, U-clip cable will come off eventually.

For less than $2500, it is one of the few carbon fiber bikes that you can get for that price. And the frame is the highest rated carbon fiber frame to date. Minimal upgrades can make this great bike to an awesome one.

    Pros
Complete carbon fiber bike with Bluto fork for less than $2500.
Stable geometry with a low bottom bracket for easier maneuverability.
    Spacious cockpit and low standover.
Can be ordered with better components.

    Cons
All the weight are on the stock wheels. 32.5 lbs, medium frame without pedals.
Low bottom bracket can cause pedal strikes.
100mm stem and seat tube angle makes the bike feel overly stretched out.
    Mechanical brakes (personal preference)
    Carbon fiber addiction
