Plush 140mm travel and 29" wheels convert this all new aluminum bike into a trail rocket. The suspension kinematics are inherited from the Stereo 140 platform. Even big bumps are just sucked up by our Sting 140 Pro. There are a dozen new lines on the descent which you never noticed before. With the Sting 140 we have built a universal 29er full suspension bike for riders who want to start all-mountain experiences and love the fun enabled by 140mm of travel. A totally new triple butted 7005 aluminum frame is the base, using Advanced Mechanical Forming for optimized tubing. With 120mm of travel the FSP 4-link works as a high-performance suspension chassis. ETC lets the bike behave easily on every terrain because braking and pedalling don`t compromise the performance. The balanced ARG - Agile Ride Geometry - lets you feel confident even on longer rides through its playful but reliable handling.
The components are more than reliable. Shimano SLX with XT derailleur and compact Shimano Deore 22/30/40T cranks. The suspension components include a Fox 34 Float CTD air fork with tapered steerer for enhanced stiffness and Fox Float CTD shock with CUBE custom tune and adjustable rebound damping. Both have selectable Climb, Trail or Descend modes. The stiff but lightweight Sun Ringlé Radium AM 29 wheels have a wider rim to withstand the tougher demands of All Mountain riding. The cockpit is a real CUBE control center: CUBE Performance Pro Stem and 720mm Flat Race Bar for control and fun on the trails. Schwalbe's Hans Dampf Kevlar folding tires have a robust SnakeSkin sidewall and super traction.
