Model/Year: 2014

Pros: This is a go anywhere do anything bike. It's fast and playful, and will take you wherever you want to go. Excellent components for the price. It's also surprisingly light for being an aluminum frame. Even with the limited amount of travel compared to newer "all mountain" bikes, it's definitely capable of holding it's own.

Cons: I ended up replacing the wheels for something wider and stronger, and eventually upgraded to a 1x11 drivetrain.

Recommendation: Rocky Mountain continues to live up to their name with this bike. Keep it maintained and it won't disappoint!

Model/Year: Thunderbolt 730 2015

Pros: Quick, Maneuverable, extremely stable

Cons: a tad heavy, not much but just a hair

Recommendation: I highly recommend this bike! It comes stock with Shimano XT's (which aren't bad) in a 3x10, and 120 mil travel shocks so if you are planning on doing intense downhill you may want to add more travel and go to a 1x10 gear system.
