Well……(that’s a pretty DEEP subject 😆 ) My current favorite ride is my 06 IronHorse Warrior Pro, BUT going back in the day I used to have a Schwinn Impact decked out almost entirely with Onza components. This bike was a early 90’s full rigid and one of the most bulletproof XC bikes I’ve ever owned. In five years I think the only part I replaced were some tires, tubes, and a chain. I was only the second owner, and the original owner only rode the thing like 10 times. I got the bike in 02 and I just sold it last year beacuse I thought I was going to quit riding. Since last year I’ve purchased four more bikes and now I’m riding more than ever, but man I really miss that Schwinn 😢 .

Would have to say my stumpjumper as of right now,but I’ve been looking at the Gary Fisher Rosco, when I first seen it even just in the magezine I knew it was a bad ass.
full rigidI know what you mean here dude,I made sure my full suspension had lockouts front and back when I bought the stumpjumper so I could ride rigid. Now I’m seriously looking at building a rigid bike for the trails, been meaning to since last summer, but with the recession.I do like the stumpjumper with the fox talas fork with the travel adjust so I can do some light duty down hill somtimes.
It’s kinda funny somtimes, you get riders who say suspension is the only way to go but no one ever seems to realize that my suspension is locked out fully rigid when I trail ride. 😏 😉 -

Yeah. I’m seriously considering making my next purchase a full rigid again but I having a hard time deciding what I want. I’m thinking about buying used and I’m trying to keep the price around $250. I’ve got 3 FS bikes already (for the technical stuff) and all I’ll be doing with the rigid will be light to moderate XC. Any ideas???? 😃

The bikes i have right now i like alot…However way back Yeti made one called the Yeti ultimate which i had ordered naked and had a custom paint done to make it look like the M1A1 Abrhams. It was the coolest thing at the time and true to the paint it was a tank! This is before any suspension. So it had an Answer fork, Kore stem and Answer hyperlite bar. and full XT of the time with tubular chrmolly cranks.. IT was fun…Rigid but fun!

I still have fond memories of my rigid Bridgestone MB-5. It was a chromolly frame but I just remember it riding really light and fast.
But yeah, my favorite bike is whatever bike I’m riding at the moment (currently a Redline d660 29er).

I’ve only had 3 true MTBs beyond the rails to trails Huffy years.
Got to go with my present main bike – Santa Cruz Blur LT. Ride and handling are perfect for the type of riding I like. Fast too.

OMG!! I forgot about the die hard Brigestones. And I have to agree with the "my favorite bike is whatever I’m riding at the moment" statement. That one pretty much sums it all up 😄 .

For the AM duty, 24hr, marathon race stuff, SC Blur LT2 is by far my favorite.
For XC it’s a Scott Spark 20….I replaced the one that was stolen…and this bike IS THE ONE for short course and pure XC racing. But in reality when we fork several grand out for a bike…sometimes don’t we trick ourselves into making it our fav unless it’s a real dog?

I currently like my tricked out Fisher Tassajara. I do want to get that Roscoe III though. I’m sure it would become my favorite if I spent that much money on it.

They do cost a little bit dont they,I really like that bike,I think it might be my new bff.hahahahahaha.I just dont have the money for even the Rosco I right now.does anyone know if the Rosco frame and rear shock are sold seperatly so a person could build from there existing bike?I guess that G2 gemoetry is set up with custom fork crown, and the head tube is one and an eighth to an inch and a half. And the rear wheel is custom as well,so to build this bike with parts would cost a small fortune I’m thinkin.

Favorite MTB?? Hmmm…that’s a tough one. All my good bikes have all been Specialized Enduros. I love my ’07 Carbon Enduro pro SL…definitely the nicest bike I’ve owned. But I really loved the ’05 Enduro Pro that came stock with a Fox36 fork(baddest fork ever made) and I was able to take this bike to Snowshoe, WV and ride it DH with no problems. The only upgrade was to replace the air shock with a coil over. Then there was the pimped out ’04 Enduro S-Works with the brain shock. I’d have to say the ’07 carbon Enduro would be my favorite.

Whatever’s between my legs on the trail 😆
Uhh . . . Let me rephrase that . . .
Whatever bike I’m on at the moment! It’s the ride that matters, not the metal.

My favorite bike… would have to be the only one I own, the ones from my childhood were POS’s(Fuji Mt. Fuji) so right now I am riding a:
Haro Xeon S Full Suspension with Sram X9 all around, Bontrager Pro Rhythm wheels, Hutchison Python Light Tubeless tires, and Fox Float 32 RL, RoxShock Pearl 3.3, Truavitv Sytlo 3.3 GXP, and Ritchey Pro Cockpit…all mountain sled at 30lbs, it does the job but I am a big fan of Specialized Bikes
p.s. what is a rigid bike??? 😄

I just love the $%^#$ out of my Salsa Mamasita. I’ve rode a Specialized Stumpjumper and a lower end GF, but prefer my mama to any gal in town.
