If you’re in the market for a high-end trail bike, the Cannondale Habit LT LTD, with 150/140mm of suspension travel front/rear, is currently on sale for a great price. Featuring a full carbon frame, RockShox Ultimate suspension, a SRAM Eagle XO Transmission electronic drivetrain, and a wireless Reverb AXS dropper post, this is a dream build. And it’s $3,201 off at the Cannondale website right now.
The frame geo is as modern as it comes, with a slack 64.7° head tube angle, ~77° effective seat tube angle, and reaches that top out at 510mm for size extra large frames. Chainstay lengths vary based on frame size, from 434mm to 445mm.
The Habit LT frame has a set of bottle cage mounts inside the front triangle, plus accessory mounts beneath the top tube. Cannondale even throws in their StrapRack tool/stuff holder for mounting a flat repair kit.
As of press time, size extra small through extra large Habit LT LTD bikes are in stock and available for purchase, though only one extra large bike remains. Cannondale offers free shipping and assembly for pickup at your local bike shop.

I wouldn’t change a thing. Well, maybe just one thing.
When it comes to the rest of the build, the Habit LT LTD doesn’t skimp. Buyers also get carbon handlebars, a Cannondale saddle with titanium rails, and Maxxis EXO+ 3C 29er tires (Minion DHF front, Dissector rear). The hubs are DT Swiss 350s laced to EX1700 Spline, 28h rims.
The only thing I might consider swapping out on this build is the brakeset. Cannondale specs SRAM G2 RSC brakes, which use DOT fluid instead of mineral oil. SRAM doesn’t even make the G2 RSC brakes anymore, having replaced them with the Mavens in 2024.
With overstock deals on quality mountain bikes largely drying up, this is a great opportunity to pick up a high-end bike for a great price. Buy from Cannondale.
