#55 of 90 mountain bike trails in Kansas

This trail is mostly flat and bidirectional. There are a few dips, humps and high banked turns to keep this trail fun. Very beginner friendly. Lots of windy trail , tight trees and ride along the Arkansas River. Really fun trail to just cruise and relax.

Traveling from the north or the south take the I-35 turnpike to the S Mead Dr. exit. It will take you to E 71st St S. . Turn east and follow to S Hydraulic Ave. . Turn north and follow a half mile just across the floodway to E 68th St S. and turn east. This road will turn and change names a couple times. S Minnesota Ave , E Cider St and then E 71st S. . Follow to just before the dead end and turn north to the canoe access area. There is a parking area and the trailhead is just to the northeast off the river access road.
