Mountain Biking Big Ride

*****   Add a review
#150 of 1,005 mountain bike trails in California
#2,204 in the world

Description: Follow fire road east as it rolls along maximum 3% till Bottom of incline at about 4 miles. Incline ranges from 4 to 10% for couple of miles and then at top of Incline it backs off to max 7% up to Sand Point at 9 miles and 1600 feet. A lot of people never go past here there is a nice view on a clear day with benches. Road can get pretty steep on and off after this sometimes reaching 28%., nice riding fewer people make it this far 12.5 2500 feet is Overlook and the top, also the Entrance on Demo.

Look at the view, stretch a bit, and drop into Demonstration forest, ripping single track, it is. Many choices to drop into but we of all the way along Ridge trail, and take Saw Tooth down to the fire trail. Braille Trail is also a favorite, if you looking for some teeter totters, log rides, and such.

Part two
Climb fire trail to where the weak people park, only doing half this ride, well that's what you tell yourself through he pain. Turn right on to Highland road roll and climb, to the Buzzard Lagoon fire road, making another right. Climb some more, wooo hooo, more climbing, at the fire road Wye at about a half mile, go left. Cochise single track will be on you right, so called because riders have sworn at times you can hear chanting at times. At the fire trail turn left heading up,,,, yes up to Overlook and a nice 12.5 mile downhill to your parked escape pod. A quick 50 or so miles depending which trail you took, Ibuprofen and food are nice about now
