			Mountain Biking Trail 8

#62 of 332 mountain bike trails in Idaho

Like Trail 7, Trail 8 is uncharacteristic of much of the in the motorcycle-friendly Canfield Butte system in that it is relatively smooth and rut-free. Combined with a climb on Forest Road 1562 and a descent starting on Trail 7, Trail 8 rounds out an excellent loop on Canfield Butte.

From I-90 in Coeur d'Alene take 15th street north for 1.0 mile. Turn right (east) onto Nettleton Gulch Road and proceed 2.2 miles until it reaches a gate at the trailhead parking lot. From the trailhead, cycle up Forest Road 1562 for 3.0 miles until Trails 6 and 7 begin on your right. Follow Trail 7 downhill for 0.7 mile until it intersects with Trail 8.

Awesome area to bike lots of other trails near this from steep and Rocky to rollercoaster trails
| ThankTrail condition was wet and slushy from snow melt. Much of the trail was a stream. I am sure that if dry this trail would have been great.
| ThankExcellent trail recently rebuilt and tons of fun.
