President Bush is a fat tire junkie and the Washington Post printed an article on Monday that offers some dirt on the who and where of the President’s mountain bike rides. Apparently Bush usually hits the singletrack Saturday mornings at a Secret Service training facility in nearby Beltsville, Maryland with a select group of 8 to 10 riders.
The article goes on to mention that Bush is “obsessed with the metrics of biking” (ehem, I recommend the Edge 305) and that his aides make a serious effort to find mountain bike trails for the President to ride when he’s traveling. Hmmm”¦ I wonder if the aides know about singletracks 😉
