A mountain bike trail group in New Zealand is being ordered to change the names of three trails that are part of the Signal Hill trail network in Dunedin. According to the Otago Daily Times, city officials deemed the names to be inappropriate after fielding complaints from two citizens. The trails, named The Missus, The Mistress, and Ginger Cougar had been so named and signed for seven to ten years, according to a representative from Mountain Biking Otago, the local club that maintains the trails.

Once new names for the trails have been confirmed, new signage will need to be purchased and installed.
