Believe it or not the singletracks mountain bike blog just started in January of this year with this post and has gone on to churn out more than 300 posts in 2007.

Mountain biking + GPS has been a popular theme here at the singletracks blog and some of our most viewed, most commented, and most linked have been about the Edge 205 and Edge 305 GPS units from Garmin. Other popular mountain bike GPS posts included articles on loading GPS routes on your GPS and the basics on what a GPS can do for you.

A few of our more popular posts covered the lighter side of mountain biking: the vomitous mountain bike race, mountain bike deer hunting, the office building biker, and recumbent bikes.

Over the course of 2007 we also added a couple bloggers to our team. Mudhunny wrote about this online mountain bike video game and Bombardier got people talking with his post on carbon fiber mountain bikes.

Of all the posts in 2007 a few personal favorites stand out: the Grand Canyon mountain bikers, 24 Solo, and the second coming of mountain biking according to Gary Fisher.

It’s amazing how much has happened in the mountain bike world in 2007, I can’t wait to see what 2008 has in store!
