Stage 1 is in the books! Perfect conditions out in the Pisgah Forest today. Things started with a tough climb including a few hike a bike sections. After that came the enduro segment down Daniel Ridge. The rest of the day had a couple of longer gravel climbs, but other singletrack included: Butter Gap, Long Branch, and Cove Creek.

Tomorrow’s stage is sponsored by Singletracks and looks like a doozy. It begins with a road and gravel spin out of Brevard to South Mills River. From there it’s going to be a lot of techy, pedaly singletrack on Squirrel Gap. We finish with Stage 2 with a ripping descent down Black Mountain from Pressley Gap.
