RAMBO opens Hollywood jump trail

The Roswell Area Mountain Bike Organization (RAMBO) held an official ribbon cutting on Saturday at Hollywood, the newest jump trail at Big Creek in Roswell, Georgia. Corporate sponsors Maxxis, REI, and Sunbelt Rentals helped fund the project.
Lyndon Outing Club celebrates bike park opening
The Lyndon (Vermont) Outing Club celebrated the opening of a new summer bike park this past weekend. There’s a half-mile-long climbing trail that gains about 350ft of elevation and from the top, riders can descend on Mo’s Drop, a 0.8-mile singletrack trail with a small (optional) skills park / jump line toward the bottom. The T-bar lift is not in service for summer riding.
Teen builds trail in Oregon, WI for Eagle Scout project
Easton Lindert organized volunteers to build a new mountain bike trail in the town of Oregon, Wisconsin as a part of his Eagle Scout project, according to The Oregon Observer. The quarter-mile trail is said to feature “jumps and teeter-totters,” and Lindert did all of the planning for the project, including getting approval from the city council.
O’Dea currently riding through New York on his Eastern Divide Trail attempt
When we last checked in with Eddie O’Dea, he was waiting on a ferry to cross from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia in Canada as a part of his attempt to become to the first person to ride the entire Eastern Divide Trail. This week O’Dea is out of New England and into New York state. Cresta Bike Park in Colorado Springs now complete
The Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates opened a new bike park in August featuring a pump track and skills area. Judging by the photos this is a pretty big park, and according to this profile by KRCC nearby student athletes from the Cheyenne Mountain High School mountain bike team are making good use of the trails for practice.
