The California Mountain Biking Coalition (CAMTB) has teamed up with sponsors to support mountain bike trail builders in the state with a unique twist on the fundraising raffle.
For as little as $5, ticket buyers are entered to win a $1,000 prize pack which includes a Troy Lee Designs helmet, Trail Boss tools, and power tools from Bosch. Now for the twist: the winner also gets to select a non-profit trail organization to receive an $8,000 trail builder package that includes tools plus a Cannondale eMTB and Burly bike trailer.
CAMTB will use proceeds from the raffle to fund shovel-ready trail projects and to support rider education. Executive Director, Michael Anzalone says the group “will be underwriting courses and learning opportunities for trail crews themselves […], as well as underwriting the education of the members […].”
