Bike park coming to Cozens Ranch Open Space

Fraser, Colorado

The Fraser Board of Trustees in Colorado passed a resolution to enter a contract with a private contractor to start a new bike park at the Cozens Ranch Open Space, according to SkyHi News. The American Ramp Company will discuss potential designs for the bike park with stakeholders and the public.

New trails under construction at 99 Mile Recreation Area

100 Mile House, British Columbia

The Huncity Mountain Bike Club in the South Cariboo region of BC plans to open new trails next summer at the 99 Mile Recreation Area. The club is planning for six new trails in total, according to the Williams Lake Tribune. They should add an additional 10km to the current 45km of trail.

High school MTB team gets its own campus trail

Crozet, Virginia

The Western Albemarle High School in Virginia added a campus trail to support their fast-growing team. The new trail is 3.5-miles and built for XC riding and training, according to the Crozet Gazette.

The trails are open to the public after school hours on weekdays, and on the weekends.

DH trails open in Missouri

Defiance, Missouri

A set of downhill bike trails have opened at Matson Hill Park in Defiance, Missouri. The new trails are named Black Powder Run, Boone’s Burl, and Judgement Tree and feature drops, jumps, and rock, and they are geared toward intermediate and advanced riders.

Forrest Mountain Bike Park gets $2M facelift

Forrest Mountain Bike Park located in Victoria, Australia recently completed work to re-establish itself as a top mountain biking destination. A new asphalt pump track was installed for all-weather riding and now boasts 26 different trails stretching 70km.
