With the days getting shorter and cooler, it’s important to stay warm when riding trails. Luckily, I’ve found a great long sleeve jersey that keeps me warm and can be used as a layering piece as winter comes on. The Novara Arosa jersey is just the right thickness for those cool days when you want to ride without a bulky jacket.

The inside material of the Novara Arosa is soft and wicks away moisture. This jersey is sure to keep you warm and toasty, but if you get too hot you can simply unzip the front of the jersey for ventilation (just make sure you have something on underneath!). Zip it all the way up to minimize heat loss from your core. Though the Arosa’s fabric is not windproof, the jersey is thick enough to block most of the drafty air as you’re riding.

The Novara Arosa bike jersey comes in vivid blue or pink and really stands out on the trails. The fit is feminine, slightly tapering in at the waist. The jersey extends past your lower back, so you don’t have to worry about baring anything when you’re pedaling heads down. You’ll look great swooping down singletrack or hammering up those hills!

The jersey includes two large rear pockets that easily fit your keys, snacks, and other riding necessities. You could even use the pockets to carry a small digital camera so you can share pictures of your mountain biking adventures on Singletracks 😉

The Novara Arosa bike jersey is one of the most versatile cold weather riding pieces in my wardrobe and it’s now my go-to long sleeve cycling top. With Novara clothing from REI you really get a great value – I still wear Novara tops and bottoms purchased years ago and they look just as good today as they did when I bought them. Good thing too – I’ll be wearing this jersey for years to come!
