Italian brand EXT released their first mountain bike suspension fork in the summer of 2020 and now they have the Era V2, which adds some notable features and improvements which EXT says improve safety, performance, and reliability.

The EXT Era V2 has new magnesium lowers, lightening the fork up and EXT is using a “radial lubrification pocket” system to keep stanchions lubricated better under heavy load friction.

EXT also implemented a floating axle design with a pinch bolt for better fork sensitivity and has updated their HS3 end stroke device for better reliability and smoothness in harsh conditions.

EXT says that they are discontinuing the original Era and the V2 will replace the fork, though everything is backward compatible, and EXT plans to release an upgrade pack to turn V1s into V2s.

The Era V2 is available in 130, 140, 150, 160, and 170mm travel options, for 29ers only, in 44mm offset only.

For more information, check out the EXT website. MSRP: $2,100
