Coros Pace 3

The Coros Pace 3 was just released last week, and it’s the next generation GPS sport watch from the brand. This lightweight watch features improved data accuracy thanks to dual frequency GPS tracking, breadcrumb navigation, and up to 24 days of battery life. We’ve got one in for test so look for a review before the end of summer.

Singlespeed conversion kit for wheels with XD or XDR driver

The Wheels Manufacturing Solo XD makes it easy to convert your XD wheelset to singlespeed and back again. Multiple spacers make it possible to dial in the perfect chain line, and multiple cog sizes and finishes will be available. Singletracks has one in for test so look for a short review later this year.

Maxxis Reaver gravel tire

The new Maxxis Reaver is a gravel race tire that’s designed to be faster rolling and lighter weight than the already popular Rambler. A 700x45c tire weighs about 495g and features EXO sidewall protection plus “higher puncture resistance in the tread area.”

7mesh debuts Airmap tech fabric

BC-based apparel company 7mesh is stoked about their new Airmap fabric tech which is said to precisely regulate temperature and water vapor. Fabric panels are placed strategically around the garment to get the desired effect, and in a way the system sounds a bit like how tire casings and carbon fiber sheets are laid out. Look for Airmap tech in select 7mesh pieces for Fall 2023.

Maui wildfire relief jersey

Pactimo just released two jerseys to raise funds for the Maui Strong Fund and two bike shops destroyed by wildfires in Hawaii late last month. The jerseys were designed by local Maui artist Welzie, and $60 from each sale will go toward wildfire relief.

Mission Workshop resurrects the Loch short

The Mission Workshop Loch premium bike short is back. Sewn from military-spec materials, there are pockets galore including two with zippers and even a dedicated knife pocket. The Loch shorts are water resistant and quick drying too.

Hunt releases e-bike wheelset

Hunt Wheels has a new set of hoops for the aggressive e-biker who wants a strong set of alloy wheels. The Hunt E_All Mountain alloy wheels are made of 6069-T6 extruded alloy and have the same rim profile as the Enduro Wide V2. These have a 31mm inner width, 32-hole spoke layout, a new PhaseEngage EMTB-specific freehub system, and oversized 17mm 7075-T6 axles to handle the flex and torque of e-bikes.
