Loaded Precision produces lightweight, high quality mountain bike components–everything from handlebars to wheelsets to QR skewers, pedals, and stems. At Interbike the company also debuted the Napalm carbon handlebars which utilize a new carbon layup process that promises to cut weight and add durability.
The X-lite Ti stem is claimed to be one of the lightest (if not the lightest) MTB stems on the market. Weighing in at just 99g, this alloy stem features titanium bolts and a carbon face plate. Still, this is an affordable stem at $99.99 MSRP.
The new carbon wheelsets from Loaded Precision are offered in 27.5″ and 29″ configurations with sets available for XC and AM riding. Riders can choose from wheels built around a Loaded Precision or DT Swiss hub and all the rims are tubeless-compatible. The lightest wheelset tips the scales at just 1,298g.
Loaded’s new Napalm line of handlebars are produced using a single pass layup process which is an improvement over the typical 3-piece assembly process other carbon bars utilize. The 710mm bar weighs just 118g and as you can see from the video below, it has undergone serious strength testing. The video also does a good job explaining how the Napalm bar layup process is different from more typical processes.
I don’t know about you but just watching that bar flexing in the testing machine has me flinching at my screen!
Loaded Precision offers a wide range of lightweight components that promise to stand up to even the most aggressive all mountain riding conditions. Check out the full line at LoadedUSA.com.
