Is there such a thing as a quiver killer when it comes to mountain bike shoes? Maybe for some, especially once you find a pair that you like. For others, there are race-day-only shoes, winter shoes, flats, clipless, and shoes with extra protection for gravity riding.
If you only own one pair of MTB shoes, tell us which shoe/style it is in the comments below.

My Five Ten Impacts only got 300 miles before the soles fell completely off. Adidas really ruined that brand.
So Ride Concepts is my shoe for now on, they are way lighter too!

I have a pair of Giro clipless shoes for gravel/road/xc racing, and three pairs of flats. Some 510 Pro's, RideConcepts, and some Adidas/510 Crosstrail or whatever they are called.
