Does any one have any opinions on the Rocky Mountain Slayer SXC? Performance? Durability? etc? I’m slowly narrowing done my search for a FS rig and I hadn’t really thought about the Rocky until just recently.

i had the pleasure of riding one of buddies scx’s up at school a little while ago. It has a really smooth feel, but its a little heavy. It took the technical stuff with ease, and was really smooth on the uphill. I didn’t do any drops or big downhill sections with it, so i really cant comment on there. If it wasnt for the price i would be picking one up as well, but as they say you get what you pay for.

Yeah, the prices of all the FS rigs are definitely a bit prohibitive. I just got my tax return and its burning a hole in my pocket, but I still cringe at the thought of shelling of that kinda money on a bike (especially with my proclivity to eat it on trail 😕)
