Yeah, my entry level Rincon served me well, however it’s time to move on!
I can’t afford to drop an extra 3Gs on a new bike right now, so a used bike would be the way to go for me.
Someone else can ride it off the showroom floor all shinny and new, and pay the hefty tag price, and I’ll be satisfied with seconds.
That leads me back to choices, and there seams to be so many out there. I am 5’11" tall and around 220 most of the time… If I buy a full suspension all mountain bike, what platform would be the best for me to build on as I go? I tend to break things pretty quickly, and ride fairly hard uphill and down.
I keep seeing Trek Y frames, are these getting to old now to upgrade easily?
Any suggestions on brand and year to buy in the 15-1800 dollar range?
