Re: 1st nasty MTB injury

I’m with you. 29 – 0 mph in 2.5 seconds training for the Sea Otter. Fractured pelvis, fractured shoulder, four broken ribs, stiff neck and a sore pride. I’m 52. That was 3 weeks ago with 3 to go. I’m going to try the trainer next week to see how that goes. If that goes well, I’ll start off on my road bike to get the legs spinning again.

As for entertainment: Spending more time with family, they’re happy about that! I’m signed up to volunteer at stage 3 of the Tour of California. I’m also doing a lot of curls with light weights to keep my arms fit.
