A few years back I was riding in Park City when I came around a blind corner and into a young moose, scared the bejeezus out of us both, he went down trail and I went back up to the next connecting trail! 😆
Other than that experience it has always been a good distance between me and the wildlife, but I have seen deer, squirrels, chipmonks, snakes and a plethora of birds. Seen a black bear once when riding in Colorado Springs on Cpt. Jacks, but it was a good distance away.
