In this video elite Slovenian EWS racer, Vid Persak, displays his version of a local folk tale on the trails near his home.
The story goes something like this:
A long time ago, people say that there was a caravan of dead beasts (horses, dogs, cats, etc.) called DIVJA JAGA (WILD HUNT).
And the tale goes that it hunts you in the woods, at right about that time of the year when it’s cold and dark outside. How do you escape it, you might ask? Well, you can lay down in the roadway to let it pass over you, or you run. Run as long as you find the cross carved in the stump, and that will save you from DIVJA JAGA.
