New MTB Fest in Fraser, Colorado Will Have Races, Camping, and Music || July 27-29

The Fraser mountain bike festival is taking place July 27-29 and will feature MTB races, camping, live music, and vendors.

The first-ever Fraser MTB Festival will go down on July 27-29 and will feature dual slalom and short track cross-country racing.

The town of Fraser, Colorado sits just outside of Winter Park and is right in the middle of countless trails.

With the Colorado Freeride Festival on hiatus this year due to massive construction at the Winter Park resort, it’s perfect timing for a new festival in the area.

The Fraser MTB Fest will hold the USA Cycling Colorado State dual slalom championships and a short track cross-country race for all ages and abilities. Cash prizes will be handed out to pro racers over the weekend.

The short track XC course is a mile long loop with multiple climbs and descents. The number of laps will depend on the category racers are in.

Aside from racing, the festival will include other bike activities, local artists, bike brands, local businesses, food trucks, and craft beer.

Fraser MTB Fest kicks off with State Championships Titles

The inaugural Fraser MTB Fest will feature the Colorado State Championship Dual Slalom, a short course XC race, on site camping, live music and more

Fraser, CO –  The Town of Fraser, Colorado tucked up next to Winter Park is excited to announce the first annual Fraser MTB Fest on July 27 – 29. Fraser is a hub for Mountain bike and other adventures in Grand County. Now it has a top notch festival celebrating it’s spectacular views of Byers Peak and the Indian Peak Wilderness, easy trail access, the arts and of course bikes.

If you are looking to get your race on this years festival will include a short course Cross Country race and will feature the USA Cycling Colorado State Championships in Dual Slalom. We are putting Riders of all ages and abilities will have an opportunity to race from Pros to riders under 13. If you are racing the Trestle DH series at Trestle Bike park in the morning you can also race in our dual slalom. The schedule is set up to let everyone do both races!

The Dual Slalom course is being built by well known dirt jump and course builder Joe Prisel. The course will be a high speed and fun course combining all of the best elements in Dual Slalom. We have worked hard to design a course that will be fun for beginning riders and still be a challenge for the Pros. We have a two man BMX gae for the start which will lead the riders on a steep and fast course with rollers, plenty of jumps and some key technical sections to keep the racing fun for the riders and the spectators. We have $4000 cash up for grabs for the pros this weekend. Register now.

For our XC course we will have a roughly one mile loop that features multiple climbs and descents. Riders will take multiple laps depending on what class they are racing in that will take them down several singletrack sections as well as some fun climbs and descents through the trees. This will be a fun race for riders of all abilities without a doubt. Make sure to save and register today.

The Fraser MTB Fest will be more than just races too. We will have several fun bike events for all riders like games of footdown, speedway racing and more. Local artists from around Colorado will be showing their creations and providing art demonstrations throughout the weekend in our Art Village. Our vendor village will be populated by bike and outdoor brands as well as local business. Friday and Saturday night will feature live music which fits in perfect with sampling local craft beer and spirits while hanging out in the mountains.  And of course food trucks will be on hand to keep you well fed.

Colorado Adventure Park which spends it’s winter as the areas premier tubing hill will be the host venue for this years event.
