Beyond the recent cosmetic changes to singletracks, we’ve also added a ton of new features over the past few weeks. Here’s a run down of what’s new and what’s to come if you haven’t been keeping track:

Trail videos: This is probably the biggest enhancement to the site since the beginning and really fulfills our vision of sharing mountain bike trail information online. Now you can experience mountain bike trails virtually as you ride along with a singletrack guide. Trail videos are linked on trail pages and you can see a listing of all the videos here.

MTB Blogs: Besides this blog (which, by the way is also new) we’ve added the ability for all our users to create their own blogs. Just login to your singletracks account and click the “blog” link on your account homepage. Take a look at what singletracks users are blogging about.

Enhanced training log: Our premium training log (subscription required) got an upgrade recently and we’re finishing up beta testing as we speak. The new training log gives you graphs of your training progress and makes it easier to generate custom reports that can be downloaded to Excel. Sweet!

New shirts: In addition to the official singletracks shirts, we also designed a number of mountain bike humor tees that have done well on CafePress. Now you can order the Presta! shirt directly from singletracks or browse other merchandise at the new singletracks store.

Still to come: We’re working on a tag-based photo sharing system so you can share your mountain bike photos without tying them to specific trails. Also this month we hope to make a first stab at a mountain bike gear review system that doesn’t suck, stay tuned for more!
