Transition has just announced the addition of a new bike to their lineup: the Sentinel, a long-travel 29er with 140mm of rear travel and 160mm of front suspension.

In addition to a completely new model, all of Transition’s existing bikes get updated geometry and tweaks like Boost spacing and metric shock sizing. Above all, Transition is emphasizing the new geo, calling it Speed Balanced Geometry (SBG). According to the company, SBG “puts the rider in a more balanced position on the bike, which improves traction and control at all speeds. Our main focus with the updates was to maintain the ride feel of each model while simultaneously pressing the enhance button a few times.”
