Just how does a bike shop win “shop of the year at Interbike”? Did they set up a booth that was the best at the event? Just curious because I visit Durango every year and always visit this shop but that’s because I visit them all. The staff is personable and the repair shop area looks very professionally run but that being said, it’s not even close to the best shop in Durango (that would be 2nd Ave Sports), much less the best shop in the US.

I’m not sure how they award best bike shop. I’m guessing shops just apply. Definitely seems difficult to compare shops since they all serve different markets.
