Anyone venture out to the trails following Harvey or Irma? I know GHORBA is currently soliciting donations for Harvey trail relief. Anyone have any photos to share of the trail damage? Hopefully everyone stayed safe out there!

With the amount of shit that falls during our typical summer rainstorms, I’m sure there are some effed up trails out there right now.

It’s an excuse to play with chainsaws though!

OMBA  just received permission from the Florida State Parks  today  to begin the cleanup process at Santos.   Club president Jared Hartman  is going out this afternoon with a small group to begin clearing trails.  There is a scheduled trail workday for Saturday (9/16).   All trails are closed for recreational purposes at this time.

Alafia got hit pretty hard.  Here are a few damage photos from the SWAMP club.

Worked at Mala Compra yesterday, others had been there for two days. Front half rideable now. Same group supposed to be cleaning at Graham Swamp today. I had to work. No trails in Jacksonville/St Augustine area will be back to normal for a couple of weeks. Probably no trails in Florida at all will be normal for a couple of weeks, and some my take much longer.

A few photos from Texas and Florida, along with some info from GHORBA. Perhaps the coolest thing is how GHORBA members have been helping members’ families clean up their homes after the storm.
