Seatpost Markings….

I like to lower my seatpost for longer technical downhill sections but don’t want to scratch it to make my marks (like I did on my old one) so I can remember exactly where I have it the rest of the time. I’m getting a new RaceFace seatpost and would rather not scratch into it just yet.

Just curious what methods the rest of you use.

try a grease pencil.

tried both a grease pencil and a sharpie in the past and they both wear off (rather quickly).
