Look up the Big Basin area while you’re out there..try the Big Basin Redwoods State Park, there’s a trail that is around 16-17 miles. good fun, beautiful scenery.
Also, Big Basin-Gazos Creek/Chalk Mountain Ride…around 21 miles if I remember correctly.
You should really be looking in Marin County though, it is afterall, the birthplace of mountain biking!
check out Deer Park-Repack Loop, first official mountain bike race took place here.
Also, Bolinas Ridge is a great ride, about 22-23 miles.
Check these trails out online before you go, I don’t know if you’ll be able to map out the trails online but you’ll at least get a good idea if what you’re getting into.
Good luck, enjoy my first stompin’ grounds as much as you can.

El Corte Madera Open Space is outstanding. One of the best Bay Area rides for fast, steep and technical riding. Also, Henry Cowell State Park behind Bear Mtn (Roaring Camp Railroad) and then take the train tracks down to UCSC.
