So I’ve finished my 8 month run around New Zealand and have moved onto Australia for 2 months. Thought you guys would like to see some of the photos I take along the way. Will post as I go.
I’ve been sticking to tar while out here in the Outback cause I couldn’t find any true MTB paths open to use without a permit that had water refill stations along the way. I’m not used to 90+ F at all and I wasn’t going to risk heat stroke out here in the middle of no where. (Still got heat stroke one of the daya though…oops). But I still got some incredible riding done and saw a lot of amazing sites.

ALICE SPRINGS:
It was nice to have little bike parking spots along the paths with picnic tables and sleeping platforms where you could rest.

Just gotta say, thank god for water refill stations. Ran out a water for a while and got a bit of heat stroke. Didn’t make that mistake again.Good day’s ride 😀

Great pics. Love the lightning shots. I think touring a different country by mountain bike would be great even if not on singletrack. Enjoy the adventure.

What fantastic pictures. I was stationed in the Northern Territories for a while and it’s at the top of my list of places I’m glad I got to go. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam didn’t see fit to issue my a bicycle 😢

Fantastic pictures! Lizard is so big. Guess not the biggest there. Why people ride on the wrong side there? 😃
