If you ride either or both places, ESPECIALLY if you live in Hopkinton, or know people who live in Hopkinton, MA, please continue reading.
There is a group (Whitehall Woods Alliance) of people and Organizations attempting to acquire the keystone property which will tie these two parks, plus the open space easterly of Whitehall, and westerly of Upton State Forest, providing an off-road trail (with minor street crossings) of about 25 miles, one way (the long way) in over 3,000 acres of protected woodlands.

On this map the property of interest is outlined in red.
The Community Preservation Committee meets December 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 215 in Hopkinton Town Hall, 18 Main St and December 18, 2014 at 7:00, same location. Number of attendees is important, a large number, especially if Hopkinton residents, carries influence.
I will update this thread as things develop; thank you for reading, and for your support.

That is awesome news! I did link the two when i lived in Mass, but having a legit trail to do so would be great. Hopefully those that ride the trails/are local can attend. Thanks for sharing.
