cables, lock and/or chains for my folding bike

Hi, I was wondering if any users could make recommendations for u-locks, chains, and/or cables. I have a folding bike. So far my folder has only been stored in the trunk of my car but I want to start going out around the neighborhood (and maybe commuting eventually) to places that won’t allow me to bring my folder inside, and would like to be prepared with good equipment. Thank you!

I like the Rocky Mounts Carlito U-lock. It’s secure, and it’s actually really lightweight because it’s made from aluminum. Most U-locks are too heavy for commuting.
