Hi folk, I was saving for an on-one fatty at around £800 ish but saw the Boris x5 for £400…I’m no expert rider, I love to ride my local trials at swinley and heard that fatbikes can run 29 inch wheels too so was wondering if the boris could run 29 inch wheels at a later date ?
Also, are the main parts on the boris upgradeable, does the bike have non standard sizes that would cause me issues – I’d maybe look at upgrading stem, wheels one day and also a 29inch set of wheels – possible a suspension fork later on when the 29 inch wheels are on – seat post maybe.
Any advice would be appreciated, as I said I’m no expert, I don’t jump, I just love bombing around trails, mostly with my wheels on the ground !!
Thanks
G
