Heading down to GA in Sept to do some riding. Any recommended shops where I can rent in the area of Chicopee and Blankets Creek?

I’m no sure about "rentals" but Free-Flite Bikes and Outspokin Bikes both do trail demo days regularly at Blankets Creek. Free-Flite also does Chicopee. September is a bit far in the future to look at their calenders and tell you which days they will be there but you could probably drop them an email or call them and find out. Both are pretty good Local bike shops that have websites if you want to search for them on Google. They’re probably also listed in the LBS reviews on here as well.
Maybe Trek7k can give you some other local shops that do normal rentals. He lives in the area too.

I am from Atl, I think Roswell Bikes does but they are in Roswell, hence the name, which is in the north burbs but there are some decent trails in that area.

Yeah, I don’t know of any specifically but I think Roswell Bikes is the best place to check. It isn’t [i:o9e9x0od]too[/i:o9e9x0od] far from Chicopee – maybe 45 mins or so (hey, this is Atlanta 😀 ).
Renting bikes is pretty hit or miss no matter where you go (unless it’s a place like Moab). I called every bike shop in Albuquerque to rent a bike once and finally found a place but the bike ended up being a real piece of crap – basically a Wal-Mart special. Maybe you could just buy one from Wally World and donate it when you’re done here 😀

COMA,
Nortstar Bike Shop in Dawsonville Ga just west of Chicopee rents mtn bikes. I have ridden Chicopee with my son, and the owner of the shop several times. Its very good single track. The shop owner can tell you of other places to ride depending on your preference. I like forest service trails up near Dahlonega. These are gravel roads, steep climbs, and fast descents especially the Coopers Gap – Winding Stair trial.I’m originally from Cumberland Ctr Me so if there’s something I can help you with regarding this or any other biking in the area – I’ll be glad to help.
